I have a program that I've successfully "compiled" and run using the latest py2exe under python24. Yesterday I upgraded to Python 2.5 and re-ran the "compile" (using the patched up build_exe.py file found on this list). I found that whenever the win32com module was imported, it tries to import the "pythoncom" module. This results in an error... File "Template.pyo", line 2, in <module> File "zipextimporter.pyo", line 78, in load_module File "win32com\__init__.pyo", line 6, in <module> ImportError: No module named pythoncom I have tried hardcoding pythoncom into the compile script to no avail. Simply importing the win32com module causes this error. Does anyone have a fix? I'd dearly love to use Python2.5 for development due to several features that'd make my life bliss. However, I also have to deploy this using the "single-exe-contains-everything" method. Any help would be appreciated. Christoper L.
