[Py2exe-users] crash on importing psycopg2

I try to use psyopg2, in the 2.0beta5 version from

http://www.stickpeople.com/projects/python/win-psycopg/index.html


All works fine, untill I try to freeze with py2exe.

even the samples/simple/hello.py

import sys
import psycopg2
#import psycopg2.extras


print "Hello from py2exe"

print "frozen", repr(getattr(sys, "frozen", None))

print "sys.path", sys.path
print "sys.executable", sys.executable
print "sys.prefix", sys.prefix
print "sys.argv", sys.argv

crashes on "import psycopg2"

somebody found that importing decimal should help, but also
import decimal
d=3Ddecimal.Decimal("1234")

fails.

Has anyone any idea?
