No way I can get it finished and not suck within a week. So, next time I guess. > Is there anything else? I'll have the palette tools working again, based on Vince's TEA work. Will require Itcl. Also, have had the rude awakening that on my default TrueColor visuals for 16 or 24 bit depths, I can't allocate r/w color cells, so these tools aren't nearly as cool as-is. When I switch to 8 bit display I can get back a PseudoColor display with r/w color cells and they work just as I remember them. So now I'm thinking for TrueColor displays I'll include a switch to redraw the whole plot each time a color is changed. Can be slow at times (so it will be configurable) but it's the same expense as with zoom/pan which isn't that bad on a fast system even for 256x256 resolution grids and color shading if the number of distinct colors isn't large (say 10). -- Maurice LeBrun mj...@ga... |
