Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: plplot fills up /tmp Initial Comment: plplot is hardwired (via tmpfile()) on Linux to create it's temporary files in /tmp. On systems where /tmp is a tmpfs virtual file system with limited size, extended use of plplot will fill up /tmp (with a file that is still open but has been removed and continues to claim space), which begins to cause failures with other applications. Ideally, tmpfile() should be redirectable (e.g. via environment variables TMP/TMPDIR/etc.), but plplot should probably have a mechanism to create temporary files elsewhere, as well. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=102915&aid=1495157&group_id=2915 |
