-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Rafael, > I would gladly try to write the Perl interface, but I cannot promise to > work on it soon. You could also announce it in Perl/GTK-specific forums? This is really great news. Thanks! I don't think that the need is urgent, but it would be nice to include a perl binding in the 5.6.0 release. Does that sound OK? I don't have the impression that the problem is very hard, once you know how. Fortunately, the HOWTO that I circulated before seems pretty thorough. The biggest problem for me is that my lack of knowledge of perl precludes writing the test programs in that language. The are a few minor details about the object initialization that you will have to be made aware of when you write the language binding. Let me know when you are ready and I will explain.
