I have finally pinned down when plHLS_RGB got introduced into our common API documentation despite its not being part of the common API at that time. This was done in the last-minute rush before the release of PLplot-5.3.1, and the more experienced PLplot developers at the time (including me) should have caught and corrected this documentation problem, but we didn't (probably because we were too mentally exhausted). Because plHLS_RGB did get introduced into 5.3.1, I will deprecate it rather than removing it from the documentation altogether. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
