I went ahead and committed the patch because Joao was completely right: the $(srcdir)/plplot_octave_rej.h change made by Andrew Ross three days ago broke indeed the building of the Octave binding in the source tree. This is not acceptable because building in the source tree is by far the most current case (Debian packaging, casual users having CVS checked out, etc). We must find another solution for building PLplot in all possible situations, perhaps along the lines of your suggestion above. For now, please, do not revert my last change. -- Rafael |
