I have unpacked Gazebo properly. It's Gazebo-0.5.2. I already knew that Gazebo would need gl.h, glu.h, and glut.h, so I already correctly installed the GLUT library (I actually used two things: freeglut-devel-2.2.0-14_7.e13.at.i386.rpm and glut-devel-3.7-12asp.i386.rpm, both of which installed successfully). In the terminal, when I type "locate gl.h" "locate glu.h" and locate "glut.h" it successfully finds all three of those files in the "/usr/include/GL" folder. Even after restarting my computer and updating the database via "updatedb" Gazebo still doesn't realize it's there, so when I type "./configure" in the Gazebo folder, it ends up saying "configure: error: Could not find (one of) gl.h glu.h glut.h; OpenGL is required to build Gazebo" I was trying to install the ode-0.6 library as well, and even that couldn't find those three files, so I ended up finding an rpm of the ode-0.6, but I still can't get Gazebo to cooperate. I've had this problem before on a different computer, and all I had to do was make sure that "gl.h" "glu.h" and "glut.h" were in that proper directory and it worked fine! What's wrong this time? What do I do? Also, I'm new to Linux so if there's a modification necessary to settings or something, a step by step instruction in the Terminal would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance! |
