Just a reminder if you are trying to compile and install from CVS, the camerauvc driver can issue a... configure: WARNING: linux/videodev2.h: present but cannot be compiled configure: WARNING: linux/videodev2.h: check for missing prerequisite headers? configure: WARNING: linux/videodev2.h: see the Autoconf documentation configure: WARNING: linux/videodev2.h: section "Present But Cannot Be Compiled" configure: WARNING: linux/videodev2.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result configure: WARNING: linux/videodev2.h: in the future, the compiler will take precedence ... I spent quite some time today, trying to debug this. It is basically an issue that I found (at least) in Debian, while creating a jail with unstable. For some reason, the /usr/src/linux/videodev2.h (which is a part of linux-kernel-headers) is missing an "#include <asm/types.h>". Be sure to insert that in, if you get the above configuration error. Thanks to Raymond (the camerauvc author), who is sitting next to me now, for nailing this one. Hopefully your linux won't complain about it, but just in case it does...
