[Playerstage-developers] Python bindings install prefix

A recent change to the python bindings makefile changed the prefix 
variable for calling setup.py from $(prefix) to $(DESTDIR). The patch 
that made this change says:

"The makefile of the python bindings don't take into account the DESTDIR 
flag of the make command This one liner solves that"

Unfortunately, the fix means that the makefile ignores any prefix set 
with --prefix= in configure. DESTDIR isn't defined anywhere in the 
makefile. What is the DESTDIR variable supposed to do, and do we need to 
combine it with $prefix somehow?
