I cannot get CVS version of player compiled. My guess problem has something to do with two different version of player.h. There is one in config and one in libplayercore. The one in config seems to be an older one, but libplayercore is missing things liek player_device_id. As far as I can tell, client_libs are compiled against the player.h in libplayercore. In first case, it looks like player_msghdr_t was changed, but C client_lib wasn't because I get a lot of error: 'struct player_msghdr' has no member named 'device' and such errors. Most of the fixes are easy except something called 'conid' which doesn't exist anywhere, but possibly could be seq variable in player_msghdr_t. In second case, it looks like definitions from player.h are not propagated into appropriate header files for compilation. player_device_id is not being found. I deleted my version to try from scratch and for the moment I get an error while login into cvs (hopefully it will go away) so I'm stuck for now ... -- Magda |
