Here's one that i sent yesterday, and again this morning. It addresses the bug that Alex noticed about defining things like HAVE_STDINT_H. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Wed, 13 Nov 2002 21:12:11 -0800 (PST) From: brian gerkey <bg...@cs...> To: Player/Stage Developers <pla...@li...>, Player/Stage Users <pla...@li...>, robotgroup@robotics Subject: little bug in Player 1.3 hi, There's a little bug in Player 1.3 that may cause you trouble when building C or C++ client programs. Specifically, <player.h>, when installed, does not include some system headers that are necessary to define certain ISO types that are used in <player.h>. The symptom is that the compiler complains at great length about things like "uint8_t" being undefined. Fortunately, there's an easy workaround: before including <player.h> (or including a file that includes it, such as <playerclient.h>), you should include <stdint.h> (or <sys/types.h> on BSD-like systems, including Solaris). I've already got a fix in CVS, and i'll make a bugfix release soon. brian. |
