Hi, I've been working with the Terrain model to create some ramps and platforms and I've noticed that in some cases the robot starts to jump around when it gets in contact with the terrain (the groundplane is ok). Specifically it is like in every contact point (wheel) with the terrain it gets a repulsive force. The funny thing is that using the same world file and the exact same gzbuilder options but different source GIF files, I get a terrain that exhibits that behavior and a terrain that doesn't. As a matter of fact the gzbuilder options don't seem to affect it because the same GIF file will always result in the same behavior (either repulsion or no). The terrain.gzb included with gazebo exhibits that behavior so I would appreciate if anyone could add a robot there and check if it is ok or not. That way at least I'll know if it is specific to my distribution. I'm using a recent gazebo cvs. I tried different versions of the ODE but nothing changed. Thanks dalai ____________________________________________________________________ http://www.freemail.gr - äùñåÜí õðçñåóßá çëåêôñïíéêïý ôá÷õäñïìåßïõ. http://www.freemail.gr - free email service for the Greek-speaking. |
