Andrew, We just figured out something that may be relevant for your setup. We had exactly the same output from glxinfo, and are running Fedora Core 2 with nVidia cards. In a nutshell, we had to delete /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.* and then rerun nVidia's install program (only root is going to be able to do these). When you get it right, you'll see results from: glxinfo | grep pbuffer and glxinfo | grep render will show "yes". Also, instead of OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: http://www.mesa3d.org OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect you'll see: OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation OpenGL renderer string: <Name of NVIDIA BOARD> (If you still have problems, let me know and I'll have our sys admin talk to your sys admin). -Doug -- Douglas S.
