I was wrong about the PLAYER_SIMULATION_SET_POSE2D value; stg_driver.cc isn't even used it appears. But it looks like there is a missing line in Stage's InitSimulation() of player_driver.cc. In order to find the simulation device, it needs to be added to the devices: g_ptr_array_add( this->devices, device ); After adding this line (with the patch posted at the tracker) I can now find the simulation device. I see: Stage: received request to move object "Pioneer" to (0.00,0.00,0.00) Pioneer is the name of the robot I am trying to move. After this point, however, I get a segfault. -Doug "Douglas S.
