hi, Following our earlier discussion, I've changed the ptz interface to accomodate velocity control. There are now 'panspeed' and 'tiltspeed' fields in both the ptz data and command packets. To switch between position and velocity control, use the PLAYER_PTZ_CONTROL_MODE_REQ ioctl. I've added client-side support only in C++. Other client libs should be updated, but for now a re-compile of server and clients should still work, if all you need is position control (I added, but did not change, field names in the packets). Only the amtecpowercube driver currently supports velocity control, but the sonyevid30 driver could be updated to use it as well (as could the simulation drivers, I suppose). brian. |
