Hi, I've recently upgraded my computer to 64-bit Ubuntu 11.10 and now I'm having trouble getting playerstage to work again. I've installed Player 3.0.2 and Stage 4.0.0, but when I try to run stage/worlds/simple.cfg I get the following error: error : Failed to load plugin stageplugin. error : libtool reports error: file not found error : plugin search path: /usr/local/lib64:/home/jenny/player/source/Stage-4.0.0-src/worlds:.:/usr/local/lib/ error : failed to load plugin: stageplugin error : failed to parse config file simple.cfg driver blocks stageplugin.so is in /usr/local/lib64 so it should find it. I've checked through the mail archives and this comes up a LOT. Most of the solutions online involve changing LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point to the stageplugin.so folder. My player/stage exports from my .bashrc are: export PKG_CONFIG_PATH="/usr/local/lib64/pkgconfig" export LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/usr/local/lib64" export PLAYERPATH="/usr/local/lib64" export STAGEPATH="/usr/local/lib64" echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH confirms the variable was exported properly before I tried running stage. When I configured and installed Stage I checked that PKG_CONFIG_PATH was set up correctly. I also installed libltdl-dev before configuring/installing player and stage, so libtool is not missing. Doing ldconfig achieved nothing. I've also deleted the source and reinstalled both player and stage, but no joy. I have no idea what to try next to get this to work, does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Jenny |
