Hi, JIA Yes, Those "fixes" will make Gazebo compile but it does feel a bit unsafe to use, :-) Obviously a stable release is to prefer, but I was going to try and update some old custom controllers and a custom made robot model. That is why I would like to run the latest revision, so that I (hopefully) do not need to update them again later. Using your suggestions I will at least be able to try and make my custom code compile against trunk. But I think I will stick to the latest stable release anyway. Thank you Best Regards Peter On 01/29/2011 04:50 PM, JIA Pei wrote: > > > Hi, Peter: > > For the current expedience, I did the following two things: > > 1) add an empty Update() function to gazebo/server/physics/Geom.cc > > //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// > // Update > void Geom::Update() > { > > } > > Then, the building goes to 95%, where I met another error > > /home/jiapei/Tools/playerstagegazebo/gazebo-svn-20110129/player/SimulationInterface.cc:332: > error: ‘GO’ is not a member of ‘libgazebo::SimulationRequestData’ > > > 2) I just commented this line "case > libgazebo::SimulationRequestData::GO:" in file gazebo/libgazebo/gz.h . > > > As far as I can see, current Gazebo SVN is ambitious but not quite > complete yet. > Maybe, the best way is to use that stable release 0.10.0 ?? > > > Anyway, I've got current Gazebo SVN installed. > > Best Regards > JIA > |
