I have an example cfg for stage 2 that will let the graphics2d draw with respect to the origin. Not sure if this works in stage 3 or not. driver( name "stage" provides ["map:0" "graphics2d:0"] model "Env-boxes" ) If you make the model the back ground map it should draw correctly.
