Are you looking to use Player and Stage, or Stage alone? If you're looking to use Stage alone and develop a controller plugin to control your robots, you can always use the Wifi and communications patch that I submit to the Sourceforge tracker at: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2878504&group_id=42445&atid=433166 The wifi model in stage simulates wifi communication in your Stage world. This includes various radio propagation models, and the ability to pass messages between robots in radio range. If you're looking to use Player AND stage together this Wifi model could still be used, but you'd need to do some work to modify Player so that it supports the expanded Wifi model I've included in the patch.
