Until very recently in Stage svn, the power inteface (and connected model "energy") has not been supported. You can enable them yourself if you like (not difficult, most of the energy stuff is there), or use a version of Stage 3 which does have the charging support. I have an old version of the cvs which had the energy enabled and working somewhere, but I gave up on distributing it when Stage 3 work commenced.
