I've been trying to compile player-2.0.4 on an Ubuntu Feisty platform and have run into the following error I did a simple ./configure and installed packages until it said it would install everything I wanted. Now I get ... make[5]: Leaving directory `/home/cgeorge/dl-cache/player-2.0.4/server/drivers/position/lasersafe' Making all in nav200 make[5]: Entering directory `/home/cgeorge/dl-cache/player-2.0.4/server/drivers/position/nav200' /bin/bash ../../../../libtool --tag=CXX --mode=link g++ -L/usr/lib -o test_program_init test_program_init.o libsicknav200.la -lpthread -lnsl -lrt -lltdl -ldl -ljpeg -lGL g++ -o test_program_init test_program_init.o -L/usr/lib ./.libs/libsicknav200.a -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lXext -lX11 -lpthread -lnsl -lrt /usr/lib/libltdl.so -ldl /usr/lib/libjpeg.so /usr/lib/libGL.so /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXext collect2: ld returned 1 exit status Which seems strange since I have the library here ls /usr/lib/libXext* /usr/lib/libXext.so.6 /usr/lib/libXext.so.6.4.0 Thanks, Chad |
