The "simulation" interface allows you to get and set the pose of any named simulation object, along with a few other parameters, listed in the Stage driver documentation. http://playerstage.sourceforge.net/doc/Stage-2.0.1/group__player.html It's straightforward to extend this interface if you need more power over the Stage models.
