I believe this tutorial explains in detail most of the important aspects of the Player/Stage software such as calling function, cross-compiling, writing configuration files, libplayerc, etrc; however, it does not concentrate in basic aspects. For example, let suppose we have a robot in a room with one box in the middle and the robot have four sensors (you name them) in each side of the robot, and here are the basic questions, PLEASE FEEL TO LAUGH if you think this is a ridiculous questions (kinder garden) 1.- How many files (program) does a user need to generate in order for him or her to run the Stage simulation? 2.- How these files ( programs) are interlinked and where need to be saved them? 3.- How can a user call them in a Linux system to run the simulation? I would like to simulate a SIMPLE, very SIMPLE Stage program from a Linux platform like the one I mentioned above. Other questions. 4.- Does player/Stage system have this type of tutorial? If it does, where I can get it 5.- Does anyone know any book available in the market that I can buy that cover these basic question? I would extremely appreciate your help with this problem.
