=0Ahello,=0A=0AI am a new user using player 1.6.2 and stage 1.6. For my MSc= , I am writing a code to localize my robot in a known map for indoor enviro= nment using odometry and beacons. So far i have written the code for obstac= le avoidance and now I want to use IR as beacons but i see that it is not s= upported in stage as it gives error "stage doesnt support device 22". Hence= i have the following questions=0A=0A1. Is it possible to use IR in stage p= layer 2.0. If yes i will upgrade to stage player 2.0.=0A2. If not can i use= laser as an IR device by narrowing the beam of the laser=0A3. Also i have = put 4 beacons in a room and want to write something that can tell me if the= beacons are visible to my robot from any position in the room. Is there an= y device or function that can do the job for me.=0A4.
