Will progress on peerguardian osx ever continue? So what? OSX users are just screwed? The latest version of PG osx is garbage. Every second is uses more and more memory until all the memory on your system is used up. Come on, man. Doesn't anyone care about osx? I'd love to be using Ubuntu. Unfortunately, I don't get 6 hour battery life and a great desktop experience with it. That's a shame!

We have lost contact to the OSX developer. I just made a staged upload (to be published in 3 days) of the last availabe beta release. Don't know if that helps.

Please see http://sourceforge.net/projects/peerguardian/files/PeerGuardian%20OS%20X/ for the current status of the project.

Besides that it's up to you OSX users to improve the situation! Sorry.

The project page now states this fact, thus closing this request "won't fix". Of course the matter still exists, but it is of no use to track it here. I state it again: every OS X user is more then welcome to improve the situation. It's just the current staff that can't do it.

I heard of an OSX alternative (although I can't judge it in any way, except seeing that it seems to have more features than just IP blocking, is NoLicense licensed and the source code seems to be available): Icefloor (www.hanynet.com/icefloor/).
