hi guys whatever i tried, i still can't get networking to work under winxp pro i tried ppc cvs from 13.07. and the altivec branch from 20.07. the openvpn 2.0 beta 7 tap driver is installed and configured to fit into my local network (10.50.88.18) with the 3com driver, i get tons of debug output, first things about "the packet has size x. but it didn't pass the filter" and later lots of lines saying it was sent the xp networking monitor says 3 bytes received (during ppc boot-up), 0 sent, and this doesn't change at all tried setting the ip manually in osx 10.3.4, including hostmask, router adress, and everything else, no luck all i can ping is the osx box itself (10.50.88.30) but that's about it with the rtl driver, i get no debug output at all, no matter what pinging the system itself works when i try to ping the tun adapter, the "sent packets" go up slowly, but received doesn't change again after some time osx says host down and that's about it i didn't, as was said in most docs, enable ICS on my ethernet card, since that would completely break the network (windoze automatically sets the ip to 192.168.0.1 then...) instead, i have a linux router running on 10.50.88.1, which works fine with anything, even through vmware any ideas? thanks in advance greets, matt |
