gfile.cc cannot be compiled with gcc 4.4 due to mismatch between const char* and char*. Attached patch fixes it, though I am not sure whether there would be some odd effects with another compilers, therefore I am sending this for review. The error without this patch is: g++ -c -O2 -fmessage-length=0 -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -fno-strict-aliasing -fexceptions -pipe -posix -ansi -std=c++98 -I. -I/home/bilbo/p/pdfedit/src -I/home/bilbo/p/pdfedit/src/xpdf/ -I/usr/include -I/usr/include/freetype2 -o gfile.o gfile.cc gfile.cc: In function ‘GString* grabPath(const char*)’: gfile.cc:324: error: invalid conversion from ‘const char*’ to ‘char*’ Martin Petricek -- GPG/PGP Public key: http://www.petricek.net/petricm.pgp Fingerprint 6AA8 FFCE C061 1CB2 55F0 A1F3 3AA9 EB4F BD50 C1B8 /------------------------------------------------------------\ | WWW: http://www.petricek.net/ | \------------------------------------------------------------/ |
