Hi, I've checked out the source for passwordsafe, using tag V2_0, and have downloaded the HTML Help Workshop. After updating the include and lib paths, the Debug build works fine, but the Release build fails. I noticed several problems with the corelib configuration, all in Release build: - it is set to not use MFC (Project Settings, "General" tab, "MIcrosoft Foundation Classes" drop-list) - It uses singled-threaded, non-DLL code (Project Settings, "C/C++" tab, "Code Generation" category, "Use Run-time Library") - The include path does not include the HTML Help path Any one of these mis-configurations is enough to cause the Release build to fail. This leads me to wonder - how did you build and test the binary that is available for download? -- Jim Hyslop Senior Software Designer Leitch Technology International Inc.
