It doesn't crash, but it's still not quite right :-(  

This project file creates a full equirectangular image from the cube 
faces extracted from a mov file:

It works fine with nona (or PTmender from three weeks ago), but is 
largely black with PTmender from today.

This broke the 'dist' target.  Running ./configure on the resulting 
tarball gives this error:

  config.status: creating tools/Makefile
  config.status: creating tests/Makefile
  config.status: error: cannot find input file: tests/Makefile.in
