Hi, Forgive me if I am posting this to the wrong list but I wasn't sure which one would be most appropriate. That said, I've been familiar with Open Office for some time now but just recently discovered OxygenOffice Professional. I like what you're doing here and appreciate the effort(s) being put into this project. To that end I noticed the written information, available via the SourceForge Wiki, could use some editing; no offense intended. I don't have the tech skills to help develop O.O.P but, I'm more than willing to assist with any writing needs you may have. I'mlimited to English only but, within that constraint, am both willing and able to provide writting services should you/y'all desire? No pressure either way I just wanted to put the offer on the table as my way of giving a little something back. If you'd like to discuss the details e-mail me: conradsmith <at> gmail <dot> com Best wishes, -- M. Conrad Smith |

Hello! It is perfect time to translate OxygenOffice Professional (ooo-build) extra strings to your language. We would be very glad to see you to help our work. I hope you are familiar with po (gettext) files. Then just grab ooo-build-<yourlang>.po file and translate it. http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/ooo-build/trunk/po/ After the translation just send it back to me, and I will put the file to the right place. Best regards, KAMI |

Hi! This is a quick poll: Who want to translate OxygenOffice Professional's homepage (http://ooop.wiki.sourceforge.net/) into your language? The naming scheme should be: (pagename) -> (pagename)_<your language id> Example: main -> main_cs-CZ main -> main_hu I hope I can find some contributor here. Today I will update the page and make the necessary updates. Also I or our deal contributors will add information about new things in OxygenOffice that cames from OpenOffice.org 2.4 and from Novell coordinated ooo-build. Links: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/New_Features_2.4 http://development.openoffice.org/releases/2.4.0.html http://www.oooninja.com/2008/03/new-features-openofficeorg-240.html http://go-oo.org/discover/ Best regards, KAMI |

Dear Developers, Translators, Users! - Knock! Knock! - Who is there? - It is OxygenOffice Professional 2.4. Now, after long time of silence I would like to inform you about news around OxygenOffice Professional. First of all, as you probably know we are working hard to move OxygenOffice Professional from vanilla base to Novell's ooo-build system. I proidly report we have successfully built the first version, so if you want to use state-of-art version of OpenOffice.org derivates you should check our lastest build @ ftp.devall.hu/kami/ Currently not all language uploaded because of lack of bandwidth. Of course I can provide builds in your language if you request it. What is the main advantages to using ooo-build system? The build process is much simplier. You can track it here: http://ooop.wiki.sourceforge.net/developer Also we have lots of features (of course in Beta stage) that is not provided by OpenOffice.org. So it is more important to test it more carefully and report bugs. For example we got more import filters (NB: SVG filter is improved much), tuned performance, on Linux we have such rich features like OpenGL effects in Impress (more info: http://www.oooninja.com/2008/02/eye-candy-3d-opengl-transitions-impress.html) and GStreamer media support (with wider range of supported media formats)... Also we have improved Office OpenXML import filters (docx, xlsx, pptx)... I didn't write a full changelog because it lots of time instead of development. Also I am refactoring some parts of gallery. It sounds good isn't it? Now here is the time to help our work. For example you have to update the translations. Please update the translations, the translation kit is now updated, downloadable from here: https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=170021&package_id=202806 For translations here is a little help (Impress effects preview): http://www.oooninja.com/2008/02/eye-candy-3d-opengl-transitions-impress.html If you need more information, do not hesitate to ask me. Also I would be so glad if you collect templates for your language. Everybody can test the latest preview releases here: ftp.devall.hu/kami/ Also I am very interested in documentation updates. The current list of wiki pages is here: http://ooop.wiki.sourceforge.net/space/pagelist Please help provide more information in the wiki. Also you can translate the wiki pages to you mother tongue. We are still interested in a cool webpage. The proposal of James is so exciting, so James (and others) can you help me to make it happen? Thank you in advance! Best regards, KAMI PS: For a memo I attach some rules about templates and translation. |

Sorry for this but I would like to ask you to help promote free softwares in Hungary. Also please ask your friends to do this. You can do it easily, for details please check the next page: http://ooop.wiki.sourceforge.net/promote Thank you in advance! KAMI Ps: Also I happy to inform you about the progression of OxygenOffice Professional 2.4. We have successfully translated to ooo-build system so we will get more features again. I am currently build one version per week. I will publish the latest version if all important things work perfectly. |

Hello! You can simply select your language from here: https://ooop.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/ooop/trunk/extras/source/premium/templates/layout/lang/ This folder contains Impress layout backgrounds. You have to translate fields in File - Properties. I set the language of templates so you don't care about. Hi! I made a first step to provide templates for all supported languages. I added five Impress layer templates (background) to all languages. I set the language elements via script and I will do same for titles too. Here I need your help, because you have to translate these strings. I will provide you a small textfile to do this. I hope you can help us. Also I would like to translate more templates this way. Also I found a cool tool - OmegaT - which can translate OpenOffice.org documents directly. You can download it here: http://www.omegat.org/en/omegat.html I kindly ask you to translate some templates to your language. If you want I can search and send you templates that easy to translate. Also I want to create a small framework to automatize some text extraction, translation, rewrite of templates to makd our wouk easier. If you can you can help me to archieve this. And what about a small site for translation where users can login then translate the new or changed translation strings on a easy-to-use website? That is all! Best regards, KAMI |

Yup - PHP4 would be a problem. If SF.net doesn't offer a PHP5 upgrade or you don't have any PHP5 server for this site, you'll need something for PHP4. I can help only on PHP5. I run my own PHP5 server on elite-media.net, if you want, you can buy a domain and use this server - I think it wouldn't be a problem. So, you have these options: 1) use any PHP4 content management system/wiki 2) get server and domain and use http://sourceforge.net/projects/elitecore in PHP5 3) have it done on *.elite-media.net or on your own domain name c ya On Sat, 2006-09-23 at 17:29 +0200, KamiHír wrote: > http://sourceforge.net/docs/E07#top > > PHP Version 4.3.10 > > System > Linux sc8-pr-web7.sourceforge.net > 2.6.17.4 #1 SMP Wed Jul 12 10:44:05 > PDT 2006 i686 > > > gd > GD Support > enabled > GD Version > bundled (2.0.28 compatible) > FreeType Support > enabled > FreeType Linkage > with freetype > GIF Read Support > enabled > GIF Create Support > enabled > JPG Support > enabled > PNG Support > enabled > WBMP Support > enabled > XBM Support > enabled > > > KAMI > cyber-luk imCyber írta: > > Hello to everyone, > > # > I'm now working on http://sourceforge.net/projects/elitecore > > # > - I can make a simple WEB 1.0/WEB 2.0 site for OO Premium if > > # > you want ;-) Visitors can also edit texts/articles online > > # > (Wiki style) etc. But this all needs PHP5.1 with some > > # > default libraries(GD2) on the server. > > # > A friend of mine has a graphic studio, so he could try to > > # > make a design too. > > # > I'm already supporting OpenOffice.org - I've made a PHP5.1 > > # > class that will convert OpenDocument Format (*.ODT) into > > # > XHTML+CSS, so you can use OpenOffice as an WYSIWYG tool and > > # > then simply upload the document on the web.
