OmegaT standard version 3.1.9 released

OmegaT standard version 3.1.9 was released.

OmegaT 3.1.9 is the second release of the 3.1 branch of OmegaT.

Compared with 3.1.8, 3.1.9 brings 20 enhancements and 13 bug corrections.

3.1.9 is now provided with Java 1.8 for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux 32 and Linux 64-bit.

Yandex is now available as a machine translation engine.
Machine translation requests are now cached. That means that a source segment already translated will not be requested again during the same session (i.e., until OmegaT is closed).

The number of identical segments to the current segment is now displayed, and it is possible to jump to these segments using the right-click menu.

In the Project Files dialog, it is possible to filter files by typing characters.

The layout and resizing behaviour of numerous dialogs was improved.

There’s a new ILIAS Language file filter.

The Visio filter was updated to remove unneeded tags in Visio 2010 documents

It is possible to define the text and background colour of modification information and the active segment's source and target.

Newline characters were lost in Japanese target documents. This is now corrected.

The typographic apostrophe is now correctly handled for spell checking.

There's now a 3-second retry when OmegaT attempts to rename files. This solves some issues with team projects.

The Belarusian, Basque, Dutch, Italian and Russian localisations were updated to 3.1.9, including the complete documentation for Dutch, Italian, Japanese and Russian.

For this release, the Latest version 3.1.9, although labelled “beta” for practical reasons, is exactly the same as the standard one.
