Walter, good find on this problem. We're running 7.3 over here and have the problem, but I guess that no one ever uses the advanced searches. I will fix it, using the explicit cast like you found, but first could you test that the cast works in 7.2? select ip from device where ip::text like '10.3.51.%'; Looks like I'll releasing 0.93 sooner than later.
