Open bin/NAnt.exe.config, find: <platform name="unix" default="mono-1.0"> <framework name="mono-1.0" .... and update your paths accordingly: In my case it is: sdkdirectory="/opt/mono/bin" frameworkdirectory="/opt/mono/bin" frameworkassemblydirectory="/opt/mono/lib" You may have installed mono somewhere else. This needs to be done every time you install a new version of nant.
