Hi! If it's not write access problems, check code access permissions. Code is granted permissions to perform various tasks based on (amongst others) where it comes from. So code coming from the internet or intranet is given less permissions that code from local machine. I know for sure that this applies to netbios shares and it may apply to removable media like CD roms. The easiest way is to fix it is to give an assembly "full trust". You use some wizard provided with .NET installation: Follow this: Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Microsoft .NET Framework (your version) Wizards -> Trust an Assembly and follow the wizard steps (should be easy). You may need to repeat the trusting procedure for all *.dll files. When you have an enterprise scenario, you may want to distribute your trusts (they are stored in *.config file somewhere - I don't remember where) to all computers in a domain. Hope it helps.
