Have you tried again since? Its pretty bizarre since it is same data on the server for all hosts...
still the same error.
this pc is in a network that has most of the ports closed apart from the http port and the ftp, but that was the case always, and as far as i know, nothing has changed since
I am having this same exact error since the 1.4.2.009 update first popped up, except on WIndows 8.1. Card databases update fine because Modern Masters 2015 card versions are showing up. Have tried on two different networks, wired and wireless. Error pops up after clicking "finish"

today manually purged the the folder and reinstalled the current version.
it updated correctly
