Ave, although I did not believe the Post by eBayShop Panvigor (and maybe I was wrong as I read from the reply of Josh), I looked at its site and saw a lot of cameras having only BNC connectors. Up to now I was using networkkapable cameras and connected them via LAN. Those cameras are very expensive compared to the BNC ones, and I think they are a lot less complicated to install. I would not have to configure my DHCP, no passwords etc. I am considering to give those cameras a try and ask for experience. No doubt, I would also need a card to connect those cameras to the Motion Server. Anyone has experience with those cards, and installation on linux? The ones I found in this shop did not mention any linux drivers. Second Using BNC Cables to wire my cameras, is there any limit in ditance distance from cam to server? Do I need special tubes in the wall or can I put them besides the electric wires. Thanks for your input, Hannes @ Josh and all the other, I am sorry, I did not mean to insult Josh. True, I was reading between the lines, which is quite risky, but I was tempted to respond to what I read there, because for me it looked like being print in bold. -- --<>------------------------------------------- Zufallszitat: I like pigs.
