While this was on a conclusive test I do think you might have problems controlling this camera from linux. I used the following url to locate your model of camera: http://www.google.com/search?complete=1&hl=en&lr=&q=%2Binurl%3AViewerFrame%3FMode%3DMotion+KX-HCM1&btnG=Search I then tried to access the camera with Firefox and while I could view the camera I could not control the camera. When I tried to access the same camera URL with IE I was immediately prompted to install an Active X software package. This leads me to believe the PTZ functions require Active X (as does inspecting the URLs hiding under the control buttons). Perhaps if someone was running Linux they could try control the cameras using the above URL?
