It seems that some RPMs of ffmpeg are built requiring some RPMs called libdc1394something. I found these 3 recently when trying to install a very recent ffmpeg RPM: libdc1394-1.1.0-4.rhfc3.at.i386.rpm libdc1394_control13-1.1.0-4.rhfc3.at.i386.rpm libdc1394-devel-1.1.0-4.rhfc3.at.i386.rpm Try looking for the latest of the libdc1394 rpms that fit your fedora version. Motion does not really use these. But if the ffmpeg RPM is built requiring these libs you get those errors.
