yeah.. I use a cron job that runs a little script once a week.. something like #!/bin/bash outfile=$(date +%F) cd /home/bob/disk-1/security cat barcam* > all.avi mencoder -forceidx -fps 24 -ovc copy -oac copy -o $outfile.tavern-camera.avi all.avi rm all.avi rm -f barcam* cat outside* > all.avi mencoder -forceidx -fps 24 -ovc copy -oac copy -o $outfile.outside-camera.avi all.avi rm all.avi rm -f outside* I fix the fps rate since I record at 3fps and you have to force the index to get a proper vid after you concatenate them together.. Whatever, it's a general guide.
