This has probably been previously posted, but as the forum will not send = me a confirmation email I'm appealing to you lot. I am experimenting with Morphing-Morphix which appears to be a wonderful = product... That said, the third experiment, which involves using a jpeg = to replace the boot process splash screen, fails to produce a sound iso. = When I boot the resulting iso it produces a filesystem error: ----------- FAT: unable to read boot sector ----------- Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on = unknown-block(9,0) I've tried rebooting and walking through the first three experiments = several time with the same result. I am very anxious to continue with = Morphing and am excited about it's potential. Can anyone help me with = fixing this issue? I've tried all the simple and obvious fixes but it is = important to me for the scripted method to work. My final project will = likely require the time savings involved in using these scripts.
