Also add aclocal.m4 to svn:ignore, as well as the following files in the "build" sub directory: argz.m4 libtool.m4 lt~obsolete.m4 ltdl.m4 ltsugar.m4 ltversion.m4 ltoptions.m4 2) The following patch to autogen.sh cleans the errors/warnings, except for number 3) below: Index: autogen.sh =================================================================== --- autogen.sh (revision 1819) +++ autogen.sh (working copy) @@ -1,7 +1,13 @@ #!/bin/sh rm -rf autom4te.cache +rm -f aclocal.m4 -automake --add-missing --copy --foreign +libtoolize --force --copy autoreconf --install autoheader +automake --add-missing --foreign --copy --force-missing +autoconf --force + +# Clean up +rm -rf autom4te.cache 3) The messages configure.ac:594: warning: PKG_PROG_PKG_CONFIG is m4_require'd but not m4_defun'd build/find_lua.m4:7: CHECK_LUA is expanded from... configure.ac:594: the top level will show up, if the system does not have a valid pkg-config installation, or the m4 macros of pkg-config were not correctly installed. At the moment your lua checking mandates the existence of pkg-config. With the patch applied I can run autogen.sh, configure, make and make test for trunk without problems. Regards, Rainer |
