Hi, Rainer I had the same wonder as you after I saw libnet.so in Java's location. I did not get any error when I compiled Apache (2.2.19). After I am done with Apache, I used apxs from the compiled Apache2.2.19 to compile mod evasive and mod clamav no problem. Attached is the config.log. Thanks. Have a look at the file config.log and try to find out where and why configure decided that -lnet (libnet) should be needed during linking. Maybe your Apache or APR libs were already compiled in a wrong way.
