I've a server which has been experiencing some load issues with httpd. I found what I believed was an old (1 or 2 running at the time) mlogc process that. I killed the 'old' one, and now only have one running, whose parent PID matches that of the currently running apache PID. Since killing it though, this sensor seems not to be sending alerts to my console installation. This is a production server, so I can't stop and start apache in the middle of the day. Is there a way to stop and start mlogc on the sensor to get alerts working again without bouncing apache? Thanks... Danno |
