(%i1) exp(%pi);
                                       %pi
(%o1)                                %e
(%i2) float(%o1);
                                              %pi
(%o2)                        2.718281828459045
(%i3) bfloat(%o1);
(%o3)                         2.314069263277927b1

i guess float should convert %pi and calculate the
float value of %o1 completely,as bfloat does.
