Bugs item #1145990, was opened at 2005-02-21 21:24 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=104933&aid=1145990&group_id=4933 Category: Share Libraries Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Robert Dodier (robert_dodier) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: affine package fails to load, and other strangeness Initial Comment: The affine package fails to load completely or correctly, and then what parts of it are loaded act strangely. load ("affine") appears to try to load everything, but stumbles with some error messages after getting through some of the files. load ("foo.lisp") for each Lisp file succeeds for most of the files but fails on some of them. Trying to execute fast_linsolve after staggering through the loading, I get an error that $POLY_VECTOR is undefined. But that's strange because it's defined in polya.lisp which apparently loaded successfully. Trying to execute grobner_basis I get an error that MUST-REPLACEP is undefined. But that's strange because it's defined in polysmp.lisp which apparently loaded successfully. No idea what's going on here, although my one suggestion is to cut out the auto-compilation stuff if it's interfering with just getting the package loaded.
