Category: Lisp Core - Integration Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Duplicate Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Dieter Kaiser (crategus) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: integrate and %e_to_numlog Initial Comment: In the routine intform we have code to handle exp(r*log(x)) expressions. But the code does not work as expected. We do not get the desired results: The following is not fully evaluated: (%i1) integrate((exp(3/2*log(x))+1)/sqrt(x),x); (%o1) 'integrate(x,x)+2*sqrt(x) The following is equivalent to 3*x^2, but gives a noun form: (%i2) integrate(3*sqrt(x)*exp(3/2*log(x)),x); (%o2) 3*'integrate(sqrt(x)*%e^(3*log(x)/2),x) Dieter Kaiser ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Dieter Kaiser (crategus) Date: 2010-07-14 23:40 Message: Closing as a duplicate of 3029610 - integrate and %e_to_numlog ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=104933&aid=3029701&group_id=4933 |
