Gertjan, The demosite is up, and running, but we really can't negotiate on the port 8787 thing. We're running two copies of Jetty, one for geoserver + the demos + the nightly builds (port 8787) and one for the continuum build manager (port 8080). 1) I can set up a proxy pass through for the demo URLs if desired, so that they're relayed through without a problem. 2) Also, the current demo index page is ugly as hell (that's my doing). If you have any improvements, please send them my way, and I'll make sure they get up there. 3) Do I need to update the wiki to fix paths? Matthew D. As quoted from Cameron Shorter <cam...@gm...>: > http://docs.codehaus.org/display/MAP/Examples now links to the > examples in the nightly build, but we should be linking to the latest release. Also note that e.g. http://communitymapbuilder.org/display/MAP/Developers+Guide is pointing to the component register on the nightly build, perhaps that should change as well? BTW, the fact that the demo site runs on the non-standard port 8787 may cause problems for people behind firewalls with strict policies. If it is possible we should try to stick to the standard HTTP port 80. -- -- Gertjan van Oosten, gertjan@West.NL, West Consulting B.V., +31 15 2191 600 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Using Tomcat but need to do more?
