This one exists nowhere : after the latest evolutions, as the little "home" was not hard coded anymore on the Lxde destkop, it was not existing at all. Some people happened to miss it, so I made a desktop file, and other people wanted to use it too. If the Lxde team think it's a good idea, they could adopt it, if not, no problem. > My general advise is to avoid doing these things this way becasue of two > things; > * it's easy to get out dated and not picked up to the repository in time > * the more active languages are well maintained already upstream, if you > find interested translators for new/not too well maintained languages > we really need them in the usual workflow =) > > Thanks for the effort and the interest in doing l10n for LXDE ofc. I'll try to catch up with the new train, when possible, and translate a few strings to French at pootle, if some are left to do. :) I was not sure at all that theses translations could be helpful for Lxde, but they have been for the PCLinuxOS French versions, and I thought it could be extended. It seems that our Lxde locales might be (very) outdated. Is there a place at Lxde where it could be possible to download all latest translations at one time ? (We use a script that sends a request to a repos dedicated to all locales). Thanks, Mélodie -- PCLinuxOS Fr http://pclinuxos-fr.org Le blog d'une newbie http://meylodie.wordpress.com |
