Hi Jari, Thanks for investigating those issues! While I cannot comment specifically on the Windows XP bugs, I will address the first issue in that link you posted regardin the upper- vs. lower-cased object parts in an LSID: "However, the LSID specification has no requirements on the object identification string other that it should be alphanumeric." It actually does have a case sensitivity requirement.
